Special Thanks For Your Support

FROM GOHECHI-DIRECTOR- PETER PAUL NDELWA

Hello our dearest donors and sponsors!

Greetings to all of you, name by name, groups and families, we appreciate you very much for your wonderful donations you contributed, it has done great changes on the situation we were facing, and not only that, we have done some development, this include building a website, which is under construction, and soon to be finished. Also we are creating a new class at the Centre, for children in class four, where by after school they can study in for their evening tuition.

We have also created some social network whereby we can update and share almost every day what is going on at Gohechi, and the children as whole. From now on you will be seeing new posts that will be useful to all our friends. We ask you to continue spreading good news of the noble work we do helping poor children in Africa Tanzania Arusha Sekei village.

We have been able to create Gohechi simple documentary, which can be seen in our website soon, YouTube, and we have it into a DVD, this will help our friends to know more about us and what we do. Not only that, people can see through pictures, and videos by themselves and judge through the work and activities shown. I  ASK OUR FRIENDS TO SHARE WITH ALL YOUR PEOPLE THIS WONDERFUL VIDEO AS WELL AS OUR NEW WEBSITE, when all the work is completed.

I have been away for a while, and very busy, with a tiresome work over the closing of our school/Centre, and also i had lost my in-law. Still i thank my fellow Tanzanians, who stood for us and our children, Gohechi Lawyer, Gohechi board members, and especially the chairman for working hard to save the lives of the children, and fight all the enemies, in many ways, that we didn’t know before, not until God revealed to us through His people. I believe in a spiritual truth about light and dark, and it is also a scientifically fact, that DARK cannot stay together with LIGHT, never! I began helping two children, within Sekei village, today we have over 106 children, and over 300 kids have passed through our care to prepare for their advance level of primary one in government schools, and private ones, it’s almost 8 years of experience working with children.

When the classes got closed, children lost their hope, and some went back in street again, and I had to go and find them back, even as I write to you this e-mail, I have two children, brothers, whom their guardians are blind, have not been seen yet, and am working hard to find them, am asking all of you to pray for us, and we stabilize the Centre, and continue with our activities normally.

I have faced many challenges, but the recent one, was too much for me, yet God covered us with His grace, as well as the children, for they thought their Centre/school is gone, closing two weeks, with everything in it including their food, it was not a good act, even though we had a debt over the rent, but the right of the children of getting education, food, and care were denied for that period. Please our friends continue to support us, and pray for us so that in the near future we own our place where by we can settle and continue to work as we minister to the children.

Once again children are in school, they are happy, busy with their study, and hope is assured to them through your helping hands. Though through this challenge some people wanted to take advantage so that they can kill Gohechi, and do their own project, their plan failed, parents and guardians stood with us, you our donors stood with us financially, and with much prayers, until we won the battles, go through the video, and see what your support has done, friends if there is any body that can speak something about Gohechi over something, then you, our donors who helped the children to be in classes again. I will share with you soon, in details, what took place and the whole situation until we had to ask your support from.

Friends, if you have any question, or suggestion, feel free to ask us, with our contacts provided below, we will be more than ready to answer you, and provide relevant information you need. For reliable and truthful answers, about Gohechi, or anything, make sure you use our new organization e-mails, or direct to the director, Mr. Peter Paul Ndelwa, through his e-mail which is; evppndelwa@yahoo.com.

As i conclude; i cannot forget our keys leaders, on the fundraiser event that took place with two key leaders, from two different countries. Ariel -Wolpe from USA and Mr. Richard- Lord in UK, their efforts to share and the love they have for our beautiful children cannot be forgotten. Thank you so much for what you did, and all your endeavors to share with all your friends who got involved fully to donate their money so that a poor child can get her/his right for education and other necessities.

We at Gohechi appreciate you very much, and God bless you indeed!

Hoping to hear from you very soon, we love you and you are always in our thoughts and heart, for what you do, our friendship that God granted us.

The video will soon be on our website, as well as on YouTube, and also in our social networks. Very sorry for taking long to share, but I have been sick, for few weeks, and am ok now, thanks for your prayers, glory be to God,

Thanking You In advance

Kind Regards!

Thanks a lot.

Hello our dears

Greetings, hope you are fine, we want to take this special moment to appreciate all of you for the support and help you have extended to our children in the past and mostly this year 2015 when it started.
The children at GOHECHI are doing well, in their health as well as their academic developments and progress. We remember all of you, and we value every donation, because it meant a lot to the children in various ways, like feeding, educational materials, animal keeping projects, medical care, and the main one is land.
Sad News;
Few weeks one of our girl, Named Asinath was raped by a guardian, she had to be taken to the hospital, and as i share with you this information, Asinath is fine, but the matter is with the police, and the court, with the man responsible. It was an awful act, and this event, made me to take Asinath to stay into the orphanage plus all the other children who were staying with either old parents, or guardians who were not really taking close care and protection of their children, especially when they consider that these children are not their biological children.
For those who don’t know, in Africa there is lots of mistreating of children, punishments, in homes and schools, few people are there to stand for the rights of the children. I found out that, even the lawyers here who knows children’s rights more, and who could stand to help them in legal matters, are not there to stand for children, just because they will not make money with such cases, in such situation i feel so bad where the poor people suffer in every angle in their lives.
Once, Mahatma Gandhi: The leader of Indian Independence Movement “said” Each one has to find his peace from within. And peace to be real must be unaffected by outside circumstances.
Saving Lives;
in 2005, i and over 50 young people who are also supported by GOHECHI, marched over 75 Km from Moshi to Arusha, on foot with a message of peace, children and women rights, the protection and support to old persons, and the main reason was to send a message about the killing of Albino people in Tanzania which was too much at that time. Even though there are still some few incidences, which we here, still GOHECHI and its partners, and supporters will stand to save lives, inform people so that all groups that are in fear of their lives being taken can be free in their own country.
This year we faced many challenges, the major ones was to be given short notice twice in rented building. In these situation we trusted God and to encourage the children that some days we shall have our own home and school where no one will be able to take us out, when either the owners finds someone to pay more money, or when they sell their property.
We have been working hard to find a place where we can make a long time contract until we build our own home and school for the children in land which some of you have contributed, and the progress is good.
And the coming rain reason we shall have to plant crops, we have started putting manure in the land.
Good News;
We have finally found a building where children are staying, with enough rooms for classes and every necessary item.
Though the building is still a rented one, we made a contract for over five years which we believe we will be having our own school, homes for children. This has been done with a help from local government so that we do not disturb children any more.
The building is very close to the land, it is a matter of walking, and we have electricity within the building, water tanks, bathrooms and toilets, ground to play, the entire compound is surrounded by high walls, which am so pleased for the security of the children and everyone working with GOHECHI, and all of us are very happy, and the children are more happy, we thank you all for the support.
We also managed to make new uniform for children, only some new kids remaining, we thank you so much for those helped to support our children new school uniforms.
No more tented classes, no more dark and candle usage in rooms, children are able to read at night, we now contact debate in their hall, and discuss lots of things, as well as to pray together in the main hall.
We want the children to start learning practical skills in the field/land as you may remember i took a course on parmerculture few months ago. This will be an important moment to put into use all the skills and knowledge i got.
While we are waiting and preparing for the rain; we have started small garden, as well as adding more animal where children can get involved as part of learning, yet preparing them for their future, not to depend on others but to use their skills to run their own lives.
Find photos and its explanation below or above this new, we love you and thank you again for supporting GOHECHI children and its vision to change and save lives by educating and caring for the orphans, children from poor families.
I feel good to see children smiling, full of joy and hope for their future lives, i believe education we provide for them will give opportunity as they grow to become better citizens.
Am determined to see GOHECHI create future leaders, developed to influence others in return. We are now working so hard to make sure few months to come we produce enough food for children, and more of to sell, so that we are sustained through within our the organization.
Food security, clean water, health centres, and educational programs is a challenge in many villages, GOHECHI vision is to reduce if not to finish these challenges.
I have read the new about 193 world leaders, committed to 17 sustainable development Goals to inspire extraordinary, lasting impact in three areas.
1. Transforming poverty into independence.
2. Fighting inequality & creating opportunity.
3. Fixing climate change.
When i hear such goals am so happy, but the only challenge remain, when will these leaders go physically to see, and walk into these areas where people are affected? Two years ago, i visited a remote village where children were becoming blind to to lack of water to wash their faces, i asked myself, even if it were you and me, what could you do first if you find water, after seven days without it, you have to drink, to cut the long time thirsty, washing your face will be next, and when you think about it, there is no more water.
I remember hiring a water tank truck, and i took water in that village, it was a great joy!
So sitting to talk about some challenges of the world is one thing, but having peopled to get involved into the real situation, is another thing, such people are few in the world. At GOHECHI, we need to be problems solver, and solutions creators with the help of others.
May God open your eyes to see the needy, in our world today, and keep on helping whenever it is in your power to do so.
God bless you indeed,
Hope to share more soon,
Please find pictures of our children and other events.
Finally i call upon all of you, to pray for us and the children, but also if you are willing to come and volunteer with us we will be more than ready to have you at GOHECHI.

Dear all, hope you are fine today, here we are well.

Dear all, hope you are fine today, here we are well, we thank you all for your support and love to our children. For those who can remember a year ago, we asked help on starting chicken project so that we can have eggs and meat for children, but also sell some eggs into restaurants and hotel in Arusha as a means to generate income for our daily needs at GOHECHI.
Since then we hired a small land for doing exp elements, as i shared in my past post, that i will be sharing about farming, animal keeping as well as birds.
We have got a six Acre land being on hold, for GOHECHI, we are paying the money through instalments, and some of you have contributed into this noble task. We hope to own it in the near future, and if you are willing to help us please contact me today, wherever you might be, or you have ever volunteered with us in the past feel free to share.
until now we have over 100 Chicken, 5 Ducks, 2 Tacky, 2 Goats Israel type, we get milk from it, one litre a day, 8 Guinea Pig, 8 Doves. We are also planting several types of trees, and tree fruits, as you may see in the pictures.
Passion fruits, banana, papaya/pawpaw, Lusina tree which is very helpful to feed chicken, we also have planted cassava, Sugar-cane, and avocados.
You may be skilled in animal keeping, birds, or some advice about what we are doing, you are welcome and feel free to share with us. Every items above has been made possible through your generous support, we believe one person can make a difference, when he or she decide to see other human being live a better and decent life.
